Dear Partners, Colleagues, and Friends,
The year 2017 was a turning point for Uniting for Health Innovation -- what an exciting journey! Recognizing the changing needs of the Americas, the Foundation signed Memorandums of Understandings (MoUs) with industry partners, health ministries, academic institutions, and NGOs. These strategic partnerships will allow the Foundation to continue creating long-term sustainable programming that bridges the gap between public and private stakeholders.
The Foundation also experienced success transitioning office operations to new headquarters, now based in Atlanta, GA. We activated experienced and engaged staff and interns and elevated the participation of our Board of Trustees and Technical Advisory Group (FTAG).
At the Foundation, we remain grateful for the opportunity to lead efforts to improve access to quality health care; reduce morbidity and mortality due to non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes, childhood obesity, cancer, and other chronic diseases; and strengthen health care delivery systems throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States, and Canada. We are on a mission to help individuals and families live healthier and longer lives – not just for today but for future generations!
Looking ahead, Uniting for Health Innovation is excited to celebrate a legacy of 50 years developing integrated solutions that reflect the dynamic, complex nature of the everchanging public health landscape. We are prepared with the leadership, capacity, and relevance to respond to existing and emerging health threats throughout the Americas. By supporting our priorities and initiatives through meaningful partnerships, you make it possible for the Foundation to respond to these threats with urgency and research-driven solutions.
On behalf of our Board of Trustees and staff, I want to personally let you know how profoundly thankful we are for your incredible support and steadfast partnership.
We wish you all the best for a happy and healthy holiday season!
